Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and vellus hair (aka “peach fuzz”) from the surface of the skin using a sterile surgical blade. The result is smoother, brighter skin with better product absorption and a flawless makeup finish.

Benefits of Dermaplaning

→ Instantly smoother, softer skin

→ Removes dead skin buildup for better glow

→ Improves product penetration

→ Creates a more even makeup application

→ Can help reduce appearance of fine lines and texture

→ No downtime and completely painless

What to Expect

Your skin will be cleansed and prepped, and then the dermaplaning blade will be gently swept across the skin to remove buildup and peach fuzz. Afterward, you’ll receive nourishing serums, SPF protection, and personalized aftercare tips.

FAQ

Is It Safe?

Yes! Dermaplaning is completely safe when performed by a licensed professional. The blade is held at a precise angle and gently stroked across the skin—there are no cuts, no pain, and no downtime. It’s safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin, when appropriate prep and aftercare are followed.

Does It Make Hair Grow Back Thicker?

No—this is one of the most common myths. Dermaplaning removes vellus hair (the fine, soft hair on the face), which will grow back at the same rate and texture. It does not cause stubble, dark hair, or thicker regrowth.

Will my skin be red or irritated afterward?

Most clients experience little to no redness after dermaplaning. Your skin may feel slightly more sensitive or tight for a few hours, but this typically fades quickly. We finish with calming products and SPF to protect your fresh skin.

Can I wear makeup after dermaplaning?

Yes! In fact, your makeup will apply more smoothly than ever. However, for best results, we recommend waiting at least 12–24 hours before applying heavy foundation—this gives your skin time to breathe and settle post-treatment.
